Places to Visit by Car From Nice

There are plenty of places to visit by car in the Riviera city of Nice, besides its glorious beaches. It is always a good idea to rent a car when you are abroad as it makes it so much easier to get around and see more of the place you are visiting. Visit the aquarium which Jacque Cousteau was historically involved with and see all the wonderful marine life there. When you get to the top of the mountain where the town is located, there is the most glorious view across the area below. If you like art then why not take a drive out to the town of Saint Paul de Venice and visit the Maeght Foundation where there is a wonderful collection of modern art.

Jakovsky was a Rumanian who settled in Nice and founded the Museum by donating his own collection. There are pieces dating from the sixteenth century to the present day, and you can drive there in your Nice car hire vehicle.
