Fall Festivities in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

There is a lot to do during the fall in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival is held during September and October. Pigeon Forge residents and visitors can attend car shows, a fishing tournament and concerts between Labor Day weekend and Thanksgiving weekend.
Labor Day weekend is a good time to find bargains in Pigeon Forge. There is a sidewalk sale at Belz Outlets over Labor Day weekend. People who want to get an early start on their Christmas shopping can take advantage of the sale at The Incredible Christmas Place. Items sold here include Christmas decorations and toys.
Car enthusiasts will enjoy the Shades of the Past Rod Run and the Grand Fall Rod Run in September. Shades of the Past is held the weekend after Labor Day at Dollywood’s Splash Country. The Little Creek Falls attraction at Splash Country is open to registered participants in the Rod Run. Children can play on the water slides and in the pool here. Awards given at this car show include Best Street Cruiser, Best Street Rod and Best Street Machine. The Grand Fall Rod Run is held at the Grand Hotel and Convention Center in the middle of September. Attendees at this car show will have an opportunity to attend workshops and ask questions. Both car shows take place during the Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival.
The Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival starts in the middle of September and continues through the entire month of October. The Smoky Mountain Trout Tournament is one of the festival New Car Aggregator events in September. Streams are stocked with trout before the tournament. It lasts for two days. Adults and children can enter and prizes are given in several categories.
Visitors can see flour being ground in the mill at Old Mill Square on Old Mill Square Heritage Day in September. The Old Mill Restaurant is next to the mill. Shoppers can observe pottery and candy being made in the shops in the square.
The South Atlantic Shrine Association Shrine Parade is held on the same day as Old Mill Square Heritage Day. Visitors can watch the parade in the morning and spend the afternoon at Old Mill Square.
Concerts, another car show and more sales at Belz Outlets are some of the October events in Pigeon Forge. Country music concerts are held at the Country Tonite Theatre. Vintage Hudson cars are displayed at the Hudsons in the Heartland car show. Belz Outlets has a sidewalk sale during Columbus Day weekend and a truckload sale two weeks later.
The Belz Annual Halloween Egg Hunt is held at Belz Outlets in late October. Children can collect candy at the Safe Halloween Celebration at the Pigeon Forge Community Center.
The Pigeon Forge Rotary Club Craft Fair is held all month long at Patriot Park. Shoppers who want antiques will find them at the Smoky Mountain Antique Show & Sale.
November brings the Veterans Day sale at Belz Outlets and more country music concerts at the Country Tonite Theatre. Events at the Grand Resort Hotel and Convention Center include a cat show and the Turkey Strut Square and Round Dance.
The Diner’s Veterans Day Cruise In is a car show held at The Diner to honor veterans. This restaurant is a diner where breakfast is served Best Used Cars Under 4500 all day. An American Legion Flag Ceremony is included in the Veterans Day program. Prizes are given away. Live music is played.
The Winterfest Kickoff in November marks the end of the fall festivities and the beginning of winter fun.
